Cartagena de Indias is one impressive and beautiful city. It is different to everything else which I saw so far in Colombia.
Cartagena is really clean and cute with his historic Centre. Cartagena is situated besides the sea and was an important seaport. Pedro de Heredia founded this city in 1533.
The “Murallas”, the city wall is one of the landmarks in Cartagena. It’s main entrance is the “Torre del Reloj”.
This place behind the «Torre del Reloj» is the «Plaza de los Coches». During the colonial times it was the market for the slave trade.
And here some impression inside the «Murallas», the city wall.

Nice shots of a beautiful city!! By the way… It’s kind of hard to believe that you have spend almost 4 months in Colombia and you keep calling it ColUmbia… I can’t imagine a city like Cartagena in the states 😛
