«Jubeln» am Jubiläumsgrat or Cheering at the Jubigrat

The Jubigrat stretches from the Zugspitze to the Alpspitze. It is an alpine tour, more difficult places are secured with wire rope. In my view, the difficulty of this alpine tour lies in its length and the constant alpine character.

The first day we met in Garmisch. There we left the car near the station Alpspitzbahn and went with the train to Eibsee Bahnhof.

From there we started our tour to the Wiener-Neustädter Hütte. On this day it was really foggy. I did not see very much of the region.

We started quiet early and received a nice view after our first climb up to the Zugspitze.

Luckily the weather was great. Sunny and warm, almost to sunny during midday. On the ridge you won’t get any protection from the sun.

We enjoyed our long tour from the hut over two summits and then back to the funicular. In the end we really had to hurry up to catch the last one…

The panorama and the impressions on the tour were really overwhelmingly. It was a great and unique experience for me.
